I am a proud longtime Augusta area resident.  So proud, that I've moved here four times in my life.  I was not graced enough to be a natural born Southerner.  My friends told me years ago that 1) since I had lived in the South over half my life, 2)  I couldn't stand tea without sugar, 3)  that I finally developed a liking for grits, and most importantly 4) I swear that S.N.O.W. is a four letter word; I am a Naturalized Southerner.

I met my beautiful wife, Melissa, my first day of classes at Georgia Southern.  It was love at first sight, for me at least.  (She needed some convincing.)  With a proposal two and a half years later (I chose April 1^st in case she turned me down I could have said I was just joking), and a wedding a year later, we started our life together.

After several years of life together, and several more trying, we finally were blessed in 2001 with our son Jack Ethan.  Three years and one day later, God blessed us twice more with Isabella and Julianna.

It is for my family that I will strive to make your portraits great.  I want them to be proud of me as a father, and one of the best ways I can do that is to take pride in my work and make everything I do the best that I can do.

Company history

Adam Ledford Photography is new as a business.  Originally I was only a hobbyist and didn't even think about making money doing what I liked. 

What prompted me into the move from hobby to business was the birth of my beautiful twin girls, Isabella and Julianna.  Diapers don't grow on trees, no matter what Kimberly-Clark tells us.  So I decided that if I make a few extra pictures here and there for friends and friends of friends of friends, that maybe I could supplement both my hobby and my need for twice as many diapers.

Now I'm expanding beyond friends.  However, I hope that after doing business with me you will also consider me a friend.
